Saf-T-Pak: The Original Since 1964

Saf-T-Pak is THE original knife pouch. Built by a butcher, for butchers, Saf-T-Pak holds U.S. patent #2,903,171.

Starting with the KS-41, KS-42 and LD-42, each scabbard had its own application.
KS-41: designed to hold a couple of boning and/or skinning knives, up to 7” in length, in its single row.
KS-42: with its double row, this scabbard was designed for holding up to 6 general purpose knives in lengths up to 10”.
LD-42: designed for “breaking houses” with its double row holding up to 6 general purpose knives in lengths up to 12”.

As popularity rose, so did the ideas of scabbard use! These scabbards were ultimately adopted into restaurants and kitchens, as both the chefs personal knife “security blanket” as well as a recognized safe and stable manner of securing knives. No more worries of knocking your expensive knife off of the counter, no more safety or cross contamination concerns over accidental cuts or it finding its way to the floor! Ultimately, these scabbards found their way into home kitchens, smoker/bbq/outdoor kitchen areas and hunting camps, where their value was recognized for the same positive attributes that were experienced in the butcher shop, processing plant and restaurants!

As a result a new model, and two new variations, were introduced.
KS-11 and KS-11m: Single Row / Single Knife scabbard, narrowed down for compact use, in both belt hanger and magnet mount variations.
KS-41m: Standard 41 with the belt hanger removed and replaced with dual magnets.
These magnet mount variations are perfect for securely attaching to; prep tables, cold tables, slicing stations, grills/smokers and appliances.

All models and variations are made of high-grade aluminum, formed and riveted, to provide long lasting, washable, sanitary and worry-free use!
